DR. CARLY GELLERMAN, PT, DPT, CKTP, FDNS
Carly Gellerman Physical Therapy PLLC, practicing in New York and Connecticut, offers the highest standard of physical therapy. She was born and raised in Westchester, NY, and has always had a passion for helping and healing others. She believes in offering the highest quality, person-first care in a one-on-one environment. Carly understands the importance of treating with compassion and establishing patient rapport while delivering honest, evidence-based, and effective care.
Carly attended Ithaca College where she obtained her B.S. in Clinical Health Studies in 2012 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2014. She worked in an outpatient orthopedic environment for several years, treating a diverse patient population and a variety of conditions before founding Carly Gellerman Physical Therapy PLLC. She also worked as Iona College’s physical therapist for Division I athletes for 4 years, where she honed her experience treating athletes.
Dr. Gellerman has participated in extensive post-graduate continuing education opportunities, as there is always evolving evidence and treatment practices in the physical therapy field. She was first introduced to Functional Dry Needling while living in Colorado and became a Functional Dry Needling Specialist (FDNS) with Evidence in Motion in 2021. Carly is excited to offer and integrate Functional Dry Needling into her patient care. In addition to holding her FDNS, she is also a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner (CKTP).
In her free time, Carly enjoys sports and outdoor activities, including snowboarding, soccer, hiking, and camping. She is also interested in travel, live music, and spending time with loved ones. In her downtime, Carly enjoys reading, movies, and podcasts (suggestions are always welcome!).
